Amanda Pomaranski

My name is Amanda and I am a student at Franciscan University, graduating in May with my Masters in Counseling. I am compassionate and people-driven. I love my job as a counselor because I get to encounter new and interesting people and journey with them in self discovery. I love working with individuals other people find challenging. I had an internship that allowed me to work with lower functioning individuals and people diagnosed with personality disorders and I couldn't wait to get to work everyday! I feel like one of my greatest gifts is the ability to see good in people and to value their unique beauty and perspective. When I have the opportunity to do this I thrive! I am looking for a job that allows me to be creative, that stretches me to greater potential, and that allows me to use my enthusiasm and energy to help people. I am getting married in June and we are hopefully moving to the Portland, OR area by July.
